The ASID Wisconsin Chapter Advocacy Committee invites all interested interior designers to a “Mini” Capitol Day at the Wisconsin State Capitol Building, Madison, WI, on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

Our lobbyists from The Firm, Buddy Julius and Ryan Murray, have organized an informative afternoon and will be our hosts at the Capitol. A fun social Happy Hour will follow immediately after!

Event Details:

The afternoon will encompass the following activities:

• 1:00       Capitol Building Tour
                Adjourn to Hearing Room 300 Northeast after tour
• 2:00       Meet with Rep. Shae Sortwell - Regulatory Licensing Reform Chair 
• 2:30       Meet with Danielle Zimmerman - Chief of Staff to Representative Tony Kurtz
• 3:00       Meet with Rep. Shelia Stubbs - Lead Assembly Democrat author of our interior design bill during  the 2021-2022 legislative session
• 4:00       Happy Hour at DLux – 117 North Martin Luther King Blvd., Madison WI 53703
