Currently, Shari works at SmithGroup in their Milwaukee office as an Interior Designer II in the Workplace Studio. Corporate spaces have tended to be her main focus; however, she has seen a crossover into various sectors allowing her to dabble in healthcare facilities, hospitality, and education projects. Shari graduated in 2015 from Iowa State University with a BA in Interior Design. After graduation, she moved back to her home city of Milwaukee, where she is now had about eight years of experience in the design industry at a variety of workplaces ranging from architectural firms of various sizes to furniture dealerships. In addition to her day job, she serves as the Communications Director of Social Media with the IIDA WI Chapter Board.

Design lives and breathes in her everywhere she goes - woven into her instincts. When she is not working, she spends as much time as she can loving on her dog, Miss Mikah. Yoga and nature are where Shari channels most creativity, as she enjoys time outside hiking, camping, and stretching the mind and body. She also enjoys crafting of various sorts – jewelry making, painting, clay work, and other activities. For her, design is not just a career; it is a way of life.
