I would focus on further developing our chapter organization with a focus on the following goals:

- increased level of involvement and engagement within our own membership through additional marketing and communications networks: increase level of communication on SM accounts, maintain new member/member highlights, and potentially add vendor/industry partner highlights for vendors who support ASID on a regular basis

- increase level of marketing/communication at the student level through partnered events with surround design school programs, increase presence at school tradeshows, increased student focused activities for students within the design program

If selected as a chapter leader, what key goals would you set and how would you propose achieving those goals?

As the Finance Director I would like to reassess all monthly and yearly expenses to look for ways we can save money on operating expenses and in turn, spend it on our chapter members and events. I would like to take a high level approach to budgeting and find ways we can spend money differently, so events can be attended by more of our members. I would like to re-create a how-to manual for future Finance Directors so they can better understand the role that they play in the overall chapter. And finally, I would like to put our

chapter in a healthy position financially for future growth and sustainability.
