May 2023 Member Spotlight

Currently a senior at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Sebastian Wohlt is working to complete his bachelor’s degree in interior architecture and design, with a graduation date in May of 2024. Sebastian is also looking to complete his minor in Furniture Design & Making at MIAD as well. 

During the summer of 2022, as well as into his junior year in college, Sebastian interned at Ramlow/Stein Architecture and Interiors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Working alongside well-respected professional architects and interior designers, Sebastian learned a lot by working on real projects and in a professional office setting. He has also enjoyed being able to be a part of helping to make the work environment at MIAD a better place to work by improving the studio spaces, and materials library while working for the school. In his free time, Sebastian enjoys drawing and painting, hunting, fishing, spending time with friends and family, and watching sports: especially the Packers and Bucks. 

Sebastian most recently volunteered his time at ASID Wisconsin’s Design Excellence Awards Gala. If you attended the event, you likely were greeted by him, given a nametag, and guidance towards your seat. In 2022, he entered a school project for award consideration and won Silver Award in the Student Residential category for “Art Teacher's Home”.
