Matthew DeGeeter, ASID

Vice President, Education and Engagement

American Society of Interior Designers Matthew DeGeeter, ASID, is an award-winning designer and the Vice President of Education and Engagement at ASID. With a passion for developing meaningful experiences, Matthew brings his background as a professional interior designer at a top-5 firm and as a past volunteer leader of ASID to programs, education, and professional development opportunities.

Previously, Matthew worked at the Washington, DC office of Perkins+Will where his design work focused on healthcare projects as productive and efficient workplaces for those who staff them, in addition to being places of healing and wellness.

As a volunteer leader with ASID, Matthew served as a Director-at-Large on the ASID National Board of Directors, was a two-term Chair for the Emerging Professional Advisory Council and held various chapter positions. Additionally, Matthew consulted as a brand manager for The Global Good Fund, a non-profit that links social investors to high potential young leaders.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Janna Wandzilak, WELL AP, LEED AP BD+C
Associate, Delos Solutions

As an Associate at Delos, Janna consults on projects for clients pursuing WELL Certification and helps to educate the industry about health and wellness in the built environment through workshops and other speaking engagements. Janna is also the Materials Specialist at Delos, assisting with product evaluation across departments with the goal of incorporating the healthiest and most sustainable products into building projects. In this role, she is managing the materials selection for the new Delos HQ, a project for which the team is pursuing WELL Platinum, LEED v4 Platinum, and LBC Petal Certification. 

Prior to joining Delos, Janna was a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Closed Loop Advisors, a sustainability consulting firm where she advised clients on sustainability strategy, monitoring and analytics and green building & certifications. She is a WELL AP, LEED AP and also a Living Building Challenge Ambassador.
