I don’t get a lot of time to watch shows between kids and work, but when I do, I love a good binge of any current series on Netflix or Hulu. Some past favorites are: Breaking Bad, The Crown, Ginny and Georgia & Handmaid’s Tale.

What is your favorite thing about ASID?    

Creating relationships with people who share the same passion for the design industry 

What is your favorite thing about interior design? (the profession or the industry) 

As an A&D rep, I love being able to help create solutions for designers. The industry offers a blend of both creativity and problem-solving that creates a perfect balance for my personality. Client interaction is the best part of my job because it allows me to share my passion for all of the new and beautiful materials and products being introduced. I love that I am able to draw inspiration from the vase amount of talent and creativity within our industry. 

Bio: 

My career has evolved over the last 20 years in the design industry. My experience started in Chicago working at an event décor company where I was able to help create beautiful events for both weddings and corporate parties. After I graduated from design school, I worked at Holly Hunt for 7 years in high-end custom furniture. After moving back to Wisconsin in 2012, I decided to combine my love for design and business and have been a specification rep for the last 10 years with the last 4 years being at Formica.  

I am new to ASID and joined as the Finance Director just this past fall. I am excited to be apart of a community that I love. I look forward to getting to know more members throughout my term. When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters. I am also a huge animal lover and have a goldendoodle name Annie, and a Balinese cat named Oatmeal. Some of my hobbies include cooking, gardening, traveling and biking. I also love nature and try to be outside as much as possible when the weather in nice.
